Abstract
The Indian economy has undergone stagflation for the last two to three years and so have other emerging economies: Brazil, etc. Unfortunately this phenomenon has not been properly understood or analysed in the existing literature: whether academic articles or textbooks, due to the conventional framework used in such analysis.
