Abstract: This project prepares a Spreadsheet Formulation, which can be used by a company building Web products to quickly plan their Data Center Allocations depending on growth aspirations across different markets globally. Each Web Product needs certain resources (like Computational Bandwidth, Storage and Network Bandwidth) when deployed and have a linear relationship with the increase in the number and usage of users across different geographies. Depending on the targeted markets and projections, companies would want to be as close to the user as possible, as fast and at the same time have tight costing. This project puts together the most common capacity design parameters and serves as a framework for companies to plan their Capacities.
