Abstract: Introduction: Disabled persons constitute about 2% of the total population of India. Out of which, there are about 30% (approx. 10 mn) physically challenged people in India, who have good talent but are unable to demonstrate their skills and earn a living due to lack of mobility. In many cases, the concerned individuals are unable to lead a normal, independent life such as attending school/college, going for work, meeting friends and relatives etc. By providing a means of commuting across places on regular roads, the physically challenged can lead a respectful, normal life in the society. Problem Statement: As a part of this project we plan to analyze the business opportunity for mobility solutions, specifically custom made two/three/four wheeler, for physically challenged people. The objective of this project is to analyze the prospects of a viable business that can deliver affordable, safe and road-worthy mobility solutions for the physically challenged.
