dc.description.abstractThere is a paradigm shift in the outsourcing industry, which so far was only focused on cutting costs. It is apparent that from here on that the low-hanging fruits of labour arbitrage are nearing an end. Companies that transition to the next level will survive The interim report aims to understand what are the capabilities needed by the Tier 1 Indian IT Service providers to leverage the emerging Trend and thereby achieve non-linear growth and transition to the next level as mentioned in the above quote. The report begins with the evolution of the Indian software industry followed by Environmental, Customer and Internal Analysis. This Analysis will be used to come up with recommendations around the capabilities and changes needed in the organization response systems and resource allocation.
