dc.description.abstract | Mankind s quest for immortality has manifested itself in several forms. Autobiographies, chronicles, memoirs are one such medium. The concept of biographies has been around since several centuries. In recent times, several entrepreneurs have written biographies that contain the evolution and legacies of their organisations. Many of these books have become best sellers. We believe the journey every organisation is full of exciting stories and can be narrated as a gripping novel, rather than just a chronology of events. We also believe such a corporate memoir can be used to enhance the brand of the organisation. These memoirs can become one more tool in the marketing and branding arsenal. The organisation can express its feeling of pride and achievement through such a book. We believe organisations should invest time, money and resources in creating their chronicles. As such, our academic project attempts to find if there is a market for corporate memoirs. | |
