Ltd. located at Bangalore. The first assignment was with the claims disbursement section where the current processes used in handling various types of claims from Business Partners were studied and thoroughly documented. Inefficiencies in the process were identified. Any conflicts and potential problems in the process were also identified and suggestions made for dealing with them. The Information System used in the section was also studied and modifications suggested for improving its usability and inefficiencies. Discussions were later held with the IS team on ways to incorporate these modifications. The second assignment involved the study of various marketing schemes rolled out for Business Partners, and estimating their profitability before and after claim payments and also calculating the net revenue accrued to IBM from each scheme, each Business Partner and each product covered under the scheme. The third assignment was the development of a model to forecast certain categories of expenses for the various units and sub units of IBM India using quarter wise trends in historical data on these expenses. | URI: | http://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/123456789/12421 |
