Abstract: Two projects are completed in the internship period in ICICI. The first project aims to develop a framework for lenders that helps them to assess the risk associated with the USFDA (regulatory authority of the US). Increasing number of inspections, pending approvals and import alerts are cause of worry for Indian pharma companies. In this context the focus is on finding out the current problems and their relevance. A checklist template is prepared that is specific to firms. The second project s aim was to compare the different technologies in solar plant and their impact on capacity utilization factor. An engineering model is developed in spreadsheet that requires the project details. The details include the module selected, losses, efficiencies, solar irradiance level, etc. Average annual generation in units (Kilo Watt hour) is calculated and capacity utilization factor (CUF) or plant load factor is calculated (PLF).
