dc.description.abstract | The fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) segment is the fourth largest sector in the Indian economy. Packaged Food and Beverages is the leading segment, accounting for 53 per cent of the overall market. The Indian FMCG sector will offer many interesting trends and opportunities in the coming years. The objective of this report is to conduct a meta-analysis of the FMCG sector, to identify the latest trends that will shape the FMCG landscape in the near future. The confluence of these trends spawns new product opportunities which can create a new generation of products or create new product categories. This report makes recommendations of potential leads where a Brand Capital deal would be attractive. | |
