Abstract

o A brief discussion on the general environment regarding the Competitiveness framework which includes the availability of factor inputs, resource allocation and policy as well as productivity matters o To apply the porter model of analysis for the specific sectors in study (considering the sectors to be globally integrated and modifying the framework accordingly) o To get a trend for growth of the sector in terms of real output and competitiveness and figure out the key drivers for increasing output and competitiveness (again for the manufacturing industry as a whole and specific sectors)
