dc.description.abstract | An attempt has been made in this monograph to study the selection and training procedures of Indian multinationals abroad. The initial attempt to offer a course on International Business as an elective in the regular MBA programme has been described. The lukewarm response to this course suggests that there is a lack of appreciation by Indian businesses for training in international businesses. This was verified by the response to a questionnaire sent to Indian multinationals. The author concludes that the increasing opening of Indian economy may lead Indian businesses to a global perspective in the 1990s. | |
