dc.description.abstract | The year 2001 is a crucial year for technology companies all over the world. The dot-com bust, the economic recession in US and its repercussions in other parts of the world have made it extremely difficult to predict the future performance of IT companies. The analysts and the corporations are fighting over next quarter's EPS and growth rates. But all these have reinstated the importance of the fundamental valuation principles. This study attempts to identify the value drivers in the Indian Software industry. The Indian IT industry operates at different segments of the value chain. The value drivers also will be different for companies in different businesses. To remain focused, this study will look only on the IT training industry in India, which is dominated by three major players, NUT, Aptech and SSI. | en_US |
