Job Satisfaction is conceptualized as Intrinsic and Extrinsic components to identify the relative importance in the development of Turnover Intention. Results indicate the relative importance of Intrinsic Satisfaction; there was no empirical support for hypotheses involving Extrinsic Satisfaction. Results also indicate that process model of burnout is not applicable among software professionals. Organizational Politics became a central variable through multiple significant relationships with other study variables. The paper discusses the theoretical and managerial implications of these results and identifies various themes for future research. | URI: | https://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/2074/12004 | ISSN: | 0019-5286 |
