dc.description.abstractAmong the many paths prescribed in the scriptures to discover our innate divinity, devotion is verily the best. Indeed in Kali Yuga, it holds the key. It is said to be the fastest and easiest way to self-revelation and for that reason strongly recommended. Our Puranas speak of any number of extraordinary instances of pure devotion where devotees sacrifice their ego and surrender it to the Supreme Intelligence. God’s love has no limitation and transcends all boundaries. According to Sadguru Sri Sharavana Baba, God’s attention is focused exclusively on the aspirant’s capacity for penance. If that penance is pure, sincere and unadulterated, then God is obliged to appear before that devotee and bless Him. If it meets this exacting test, then irrespective of the fact whether the supplicant is a god, demon or human being, God will invariably grant the request.
