Our forefathers did not consume food until guests were fed. Sri Hanumat Kali Vara Prasad used to say that life becomes sublime when the Lord decides to visit your house. The one quality that is essential for that to happen is purity of mind. Such purity invariably attracts the Lord and He even comes uninvited.
