dc.description.abstract | During my stay at GBL, Asangaon I was working at implementing a simple and reliable supplychain system. The first two weeks of my internship were spent in analysing the past Sales and Procurement data, observing the working of employees at all levels, getting acquainted with the different functions, processes and understanding the contribution made by sub-contractors. During this project, I was attached to Mr. Ketan Visaria who was in charge of Production. He was my point of contact in the factory and helped me understand the working of the plant and the business. After the initial analysis I made a list of systems which were required at the plant. After discussing the same with Mr. Subramanian, we went ahead in implementing the proposed systems. The remaining period of my internship was actively spent in getting the systems online and instructing the concerned employees about the new systems that were being put in place. | |
