Title: | Market size assessment of RFID in India; Frost & Sullivan | Authors: | Shekhawat, Ajit Singh | Keywords: | Automation;RFID technology;Radio-frequency identification;Marketing management;Market size;Market research;Electronics industry | Issue Date: | 2010 | Publisher: | Indian Institute of Management Bangalore | Series/Report no.: | PGP_SP_P10_160 | Abstract: | During the selection process I was informed that I was supposed to work in Automation and Electronics department. I joined at Kolkata location and there were other interns too from several B Schools including IIM Bangalore. On the very first day of our joining, a presentation was given by senior HR informing all the policies, rules and norms of organization. Each person was assigned a project guide under whom he was supposed to work. After the formal introduction to guide over telephone (as my project guide was in Chennai) I was explained about the department and work. Over the course of my internship, I was handed different tasks followed by one relatively bigger task which I have written as the title. As a whole this was a good experience in understanding the market research as a field. I got a good insight in how market research companies work and how the corresponding expertise in those markets help them deliver quality advice to companies looking to solve any strategic dilemma. | URI: | https://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/2074/16779 |
