dc.description.abstractThe objective of the study was to study the currency market and suggest a growth strategy for Bonanza. This report outlines that growth strategy. The entire summer internship was structured as follows: Market Perspective, wherein growth of currency futures market, growth drivers and market segmentation were analysed. The impact and possible leveraging points for the impending Currency Options are also presented. Trading Perspective, a comparative analysis of cost between various trading instruments and possible strategies to use in CD Segments are mentioned. Furthermore, Current Situation, identifying reasons for slow growth and the quality of research are analyzed. Post the above analysis, a Growth Strategy was to be created, possible growth segments are identified. Out of the identified segments, three focus segments are shortlisted. Rationale, possible sale pitch points for these points are presented. Growth plan, with incentives for branches and motivation for franchisees was then presented. Also, whether Retail and SME sectors are synergistic was analysed. Key recommendations are summarized.
