dc.description.abstractThe summer's project involved performing a live project with a specified client "Sundirect DTH" to understand their marketing mechanisms and propose new media strategies for them. This project involved on board clients interactions and presentations, studying the industry structure and a market research to understand the target population. Extensive integrated marketing communications (IMC) training was conducted for all the interns in their respective summer's location through Webex. The training was conducted my eminent professionals who had mastered their respective media platforms. There were totally 6 sessions covering each and every aspect of SMG like "Navia", which dealt with out of home advertising, Starcom IP, which dealt with digital medium as a media platform. The IMC training concluded with a group activity where each group was assigned a specific live case and the respective groups were asked to propose IMC solutions to the case. The training also included couple of external clients talk show where the marketing managers of the respective company came over to present their side of the story and their relation with SMG.
