The internship programme started on 5th of April, 2010 with an introduction about the firm and consulting in particular. GeP is divided into 3 sectoral teams -!Peehn.ology, Consulting and Outsourcing. Each sectoral team made a presentation about their sector, prospect & opportunities, the mandates they are working on and the key takeaways for the summer interns. Depending on the business requirements and after analyzing our resumes we were allotted projects. In the 10 weeks as a summer intern I worked on various live and prospective sourcing deals in these sectors with specific deliverables and strict deadlines attached to them. Using data sites, referring to reports and attending conference calls went in conjugation to the above.
