dc.description.abstractSigma Vibracoustic started as a Joint Venture between Sigma India and Phoenix Germany and was signed in the year 1997. After it started its operations in India in the year 1999, Freudenberg merged with Phoenix to form a company called Vibracoustic and later in the year 2001 the name of the company was changed to Sigma Vibracoustic. The company is located in Mohali, which is very near to Chandigarh. Sigma Vibracoustic provides NVH solutions to almost all leading players in the global market and the domestic market. General motors, Ford, Audi, BMW, Chrysler, are some of the global customers, and in India its Tata Motors, Ford India, GM India, Ashok Leyland and etc. The company has approximately 400 employees. It's a Multi nation company which is growing at a rapid rate. Every month Sigma Vibracoustic produces close to 1.2 million parts and supplies it all over the globe. Close to 75 % of the product is exported while 25 % is used for the domestic purpose. The company's aim is to become a 400 crores company by 2013
