dc.description.abstract | The training started with a day-long orientation session during which we were briefed on the organization structure, Wipro culture and administrative requirements. Following the orientation, we were assigned mentors and guides. I was to become part of the Business Process Management (BPM) service within the Process Excellence practice. Process Excellence practice was headed by Mr. Nikhil Daxini, a Practice Partner, assigned as my mentor. While Mr. Ananda Mazumdar, senior manager, was assigned as my guide. I was assigned an individual project on developing a detailed and in depth report on Prepaid cards industry that will help defining a service offering for key banking and financial clients from a Process Excellence and Business process Management perspective. The report needed to focus on the industry overview for cards industry at large and prepaid cards in particular. It needed to contain value chain mapping, market sizing, and competition landscaping including service offerings from other consulting and technology firms such as Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc. | |
