Abstract

The summer internship project was part of studying comparative advantage of PFB over conventional ISMB in heavy structures. It involved both secondary as well as primary research. I had to look into the following facts. 1. Understanding the Steel Industry as a whole 2. Looking into the structural steel market and contrasting Indian v\s US market 3. Understanding the distribution format and who all are the major consumers 4. Talking to consumers in person and get the personal feedback on the fever of" service and quality given by JSPL in each front The scope of the project involved extensive field survey and market research. The final recommendations made were based on both qualitative observations from the field visit and the qualitative analysis of the data gathered from secondary researcn;
