dc.description.abstract	The internship was of 8 weeks duration from 29th March to 21st May, 2010 at ArvinMeritor, Global Village Centre, Bangalore. The objective of the project was to identify the equipments and suppliers for metallurgical and metrology laboratories to be set up at Bangalore Technological Center (BTC). The project required contacting different suppliers and manufacturers of equipments and discussions and meetings with them. It also included designing layout of these laboratories. The project was critical for the remanufacturing facility coming up at BTC. Also, I was involved'in recommending expansion of different test facilities in Asia Pacific region for the company
