dc.description.abstractReliance Industries Ltd. has been the largest producer of PVC in the country. Presently the company is going for an expansion in capacity and hence is vigorously looking at downstream consumption of PVC. Calendering, Compounding, Profiles and Plastic housing are some of the downstream areas that the company is actively considering. This report attempts to study the financial and marketing aspects of profiles and plastic housing. The following is a brief of the major conclusions and recommendations.
