Abstract: ITC is India’s number 1 company with a group turnover of US $2 billon and has market leadership in each of its 7 businesses. The PACKAGING AND PRINTING department of ITC is today India’s largest manufacturer of value added cartons. This division of ITC meets the packaging needs of ITC’s Indian Tobacco Division and the requirements of a wide range of leading brands of liquor, foods, detergents and personal products. PPD today is number 1 in India in the packaging of liquor and cigarettes. Its comprehensive packaging covers the innovative use of materials, processes, machinery and research and development.
