Abstract

PAL Credit and Capital Ltd. (formerly PAL Hire-Purchase Ltd.) was established in 1972 as a wholly owned subsidiary of PAL. The main objective was the financing of PAL vehicles. Then the company started undertaking various other activities and. the name was changed to PAL Credit & Capital Ltd. in 1991. Today the company's range of activities include Hire Purchase, Leasing, Merchant Banking, Bill Discounting, ICDs etc. The mainstay however, remains Car finance. The company has a long experience of more than 2 decades in the field. It has now expanded its operations to 5 states and in M.P., it is one of the largest financiers for cars. It has signed MOUs with various non-PAL dealers also and plans to expand its operations further.
