Abstract: Madura Garments deals with an exclusive range of ready-made garments - that are marketed under the LOUIS PHILIPPE, VAN HEUSEN, ELYSEE and ALLEN SOLLY brandnames. The products are distributed through a network of exclusive franchised outlets, and are also available at leading readymade garments stores across the country. The division has made rapid inroads in the readymade garment market which is viewed as an area with considerable growth potential. Coats India produces cotton, synthetic and corespun threads in its units at Ambasamudram, Madurai, Serampore and Tuticorin: These are marketed under specific brandnames like Ameto, Chain, Anchor, Aquil, Astra, Moon and Sequa. The complete range of threads is distributed through a Central Warehouse situated in Bangalore, Almost 60% of Coats Viyella's revenue comes from the operations of Coals India.
