dc.description.abstractThe company’s history dates back to 1961, when it is promoter, Mr. 8.D. Topiwala launched the business enterprise launched the Tips and Toes range of Nail Polish. The business enterprise was incorporated as a Private Limited Company under the name Tips and Toes Cosmetics (Gujrat) Private Limited on 28.11.85. It was converted into a public limited company on 21.84.86 and it’s name was altered to Tips and Toes Cosmetics (India) ltd. Over the years it has gradually increased it’s product range. Today, after having carved out a respectable market share (2nd after Lakme) in the colour cosmetics market it is set to enter the personal care market with its range of mens toiletries, Talcum powders, Creams, Lotions and shampoos. It also has plans to diversify into spices and masalas. As of now the company has no foreign collaborations in equity or technology.
