Abstract

As part of our Summer Training Programme at Tata Economic Consultancy Services, Madras, we undertook a part of the corporate planning exercise for a major South-India based group. We prepared project profiles for various industry segments for them to look into, before short-listing a few segments where detailed techno-economic feasibility study would be conducted. This report gives a brief introduction about the company and the mature of the assignments undertaken during the course of the training, details about the methodology of the study, various information sources and the learnings from the exercise. A sample of the profiles developed by us is also included.
