In her speech, Gita linked DAWN’s emerging analysis of the new challenges of the ‘fierce new world’ to the role of the intellectual / educator. The ICAE World Assembly brings together adult educators and learners from around the world every four years, and is devoted to the construction of just and equitable societies.
