dc.description.abstract | A lot has been written about India vs. China and their competition in various spheres across the globe both in the mainstream media and at an academic level as well, and without exception they look at this subject as if it is a sprint between the two Asian countries with Africa as the prize for the winner. Based on figures released by various government agencies and work carried out by researchers over the years, we summarize the following points for both China and India as far as their African Engagement is concerned. This will give us a sense of where the two countries stand right now, and what the world perceives them to be doing in Africa. | |
