dc.description.abstract | The project focus was on development of a comprehensive Soft skill training program keeping in mind the needs of all the stakeholders involved. The process was broken down under three main steps. First challenge was identifying the need. If in actual students were poor in the soft skill component? We progressed by sampling 10% of students for the interviews & written tests for all students currently getting scholarships from FFE. Also, the students were classified as under Urban, Rural & Tier 21 based on the population metrics of their cities. The tests were specifically created to know where the problem actually was. After getting to know the actual needs of students in the second stage we narrowed down to the kind of training that would be provided to the students fragmented all across the country. We segmented students into different categories based on their proficiencies. Using modeling technique we showed how the training would be imparted to students falling under the different segments. In the third stage we used statistical analysis of the results & requirement mapping was done setting priority areas or regions where the need was more urgent. Finally we have shortlisted additional partners that should be consulted to take this project to its implementation stage. | |
