Title: | Business development strategy for Emerson Control Techniques' entry into Indian photo voltaic market | Authors: | Khanna, Siddharth Ramya, J Kamala |
Keywords: | Business development;Solar energy;Solar power;Solar photovoltaic(PV) | Issue Date: | 2011 | Publisher: | Indian Institute of Management Bangalore | Series/Report no.: | PGP_CCS_P11_032 | Abstract: | Solar energy sector is seeing one of the highest growth rates in India currently. Solar power generation includes two technologies namely, Solar thermal technology and Solar Photovoltaic (PV). Solar thermal is relatively cheaper when compared to Solar PV power but technologically Solar PV is superior. Solar thermal converts sunlight to heat and transfers it to water to produce steam which can then be used to produce power/ heat or dry substances. On the other hand, Solar PV converts sunlight directly into electricity. Thus Solar PV can be used to produce electricity readily. | URI: | https://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/2074/18166 |
