dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research is to study the best practices followed in recruitment, training, goalsetting and performance appraisal of people with disabilities (PWDs) across industries in both publicand private sectors in India. This study also focuses on the challenges and issues concerningorganizations in implementing these practices. More specifically, we will cover. 1. Existing government regulations regarding recruitment of PWDs.2. Practices followed in companies (both private and public sectors) regarding recruitment,training, goal setting and performance appraisal of these candidates.
