Abstract: Entrepreneurship is the bed rock of innovation of any economy. Most of the great innovation has taken place in small entrepreneurial model. Entrepreneurship is not an isolated entity in any economy. It is inter-mingled with the economy very intimately. Economic condition has a strong influence on the entrepreneurial system in any country. In this study, we intend to see entrepreneurship in the light of current economic condition. We would study the changes that have taken place in this scenario. For the study purpose, we would limit our analysis to only technology start –ups. We believe that the current economic scenario has brought about a change in strategy (either at macro level or at a micro level) of technology companies. We aim to fathom the various developments in this field due to the changed economic scenario.
