dc.description.abstract | Information technology revolutionized the businesses and industries across the geographies in last few decades. It has changed the way businesses function and also became a key business enabler. However, over time IT has just become a common factor due to large scale adoption. Also there are overheads in the implementation and maintenance of computing systems. More and more time & finances are required to manage the IT software and hardware aspects. A part of above burgeoning issues is being tackled with the emergence of the Cloud Computing. A direct benefit of adopting cloud computing is cost reduction but several other benefits also assimilating to organizations. Organizations can now focus on their core competencies while letting Cloud Service providers manage their IT infrastructure. Further organizations can become more nimble by allocating resources very quickly to key opportunities. Cloud also helps organizations to do business seamlessly by bringing various stakeholders including customers, business partners, vendors and brokers together. Hence Cloud has become a major factor facilitating and enabling businesses. | |
