In this project, we aim to analyse the behaviour of bulk buyers and the impact that they have on the bid prices. In offline mandi trading, bulk buyers used to collude and use price signalling to their advantage and buy the commodities at low prices. With the onset of online platform, there have been attempts to reduce this substantially. The broad objectives of this project are laid down below: 1. Analyse and identify a relationship between the prices bid by bulk buyers for the chosen commodities i.e., Copra, Sunflower, Arecanut 2. Compare the average prices with MSP and other parameters like Market Modal Price 3. Analyse to see if the number of bulk buyers has any impact on the price.
