dc.description.abstract | Over the last couple of years, technologies have added a lot of meaning to warehousing operations. There is a lot of dialogue & nascent research regarding the technologies such as IoT trends and how they can disrupt and provide visibility into operations across the supply chain. One of the biggest challenges in adding value through supply chain, is to determine whether technology would address the challenges and contribute for improving operational efficiencies and revenue efficiencies of the warehouse. The scope of the project is to identify different challenges faced by warehouses and developing a framework for considering the technologies to be implemented under each scenario. | |
