Series-5 labs has been involved in software defined marketing activities. Recently, it has come up with an innovative initiative of collecting user information of BMTC commuters through only single touchpoint by providing them with a digital pass. Being a marketing company, the main motive of such platform is not to provide the ticketing platform but to gain important insights from users commuting daily in BMTC and thereby providing companies an opportunity to position their products. As a part of such initiatives, the company is exploring an option to start the visitor management platform and thereby use the data to monetize the business model. This will basically solve two problems: 1. For user of the platform: The company believes that introducing a digital link/app-based system will significantly reduce the turnaround time per user. In addition, it is also easier to maintain the database of users that having a manual system where backtracking is a major issue. 2. For series 5 labs: Series-5 wants to ease the entry system for users as well as helping them navigate the premises. The collected user information can be used by other companies to market their products. e.g. if there is a workshop in a college and majority of the population are students. Then it can be an opportunity for edu-companies to market their products. Private coaching classes, online education platforms might find the data useful.
