Title: | Synthetic graphite and graphene market assessment | Authors: | Telang, Abhishek Nanda, Sudhirr A |
Keywords: | Synthetic graphite;Synthetic graphene | Issue Date: | 2020 | Publisher: | Indian Institute of Management Bangalore | Series/Report no.: | PGP_CCS_P20_007 | Abstract: | Honeywell Technologies is a multinational conglomerate operating in sectors such as Aerospace, Building material, and safety and productivity solutions. Honeywell currently produces Synthetic Graphite and Graphene as by-products in some of its manufacturing processes. The objective of this study is to identify avenues to commercialize this by product. The global market was to be studied and suitable segments were to be identified for entry for Honeywell. Graphite is one of the purest forms of elemental carbon. It is found in igneous rocks and metamorphic rocks. Carbon atoms are hexagonally linked in Graphite. Some of the properties of Graphite make it very suitable for a myriad of industrial applications like Refractories, Battery making, Electrode, Corrosion Shields and so on. | URI: | https://repository.iimb.ac.in/handle/2074/19447 |
