dc.description.abstract | Automotive industry has grown over the years with new inventions coming up from all over the world. Today, it is known as industry of industries as many more sectors are dependent on it. In recent few years, the industry has developed rapidly with multiple disruptions. Autonomous driving, Connected Vehicles, Electric Vehicles and Shared Mobility (ACES) have attracted many traditional players and new start-ups. Urbanization increase in population, environmental issues and changing government regulations have fueled the radical and efficient advancements data-enabled and driverless domain Many organizations have already demonstrated the autonomous technologies through testing and have set new milestones for the field. The start-ups like Uber, Lyft, Ola, etc. have expanded their operations and many more companies have followed the similar business models in many countries. The cloud system, sensors and web services, has made it easy to collect and analyze the real time data which is being used to improve the efficiency of the overall vehicle. New companies like Tesla, BYD, etc. have independently created an electric vehicle ecosystem. | |
