dc.description.abstract | There are many scenarios where parallel and multiple interviews are conducted. On-campus interviews for placements, selections for various clubs in universities are some of them. The interviews are generally manually scheduled which can be time-consuming and may not result in an optimal solution. The process of scheduling constitutes two major steps. 1. Initial static scheduling based on input data received in advance. 2. Dynamic scheduling depending on the actual changes in certain variables and constraints which occur on the fly. The approach will be to build an automated system which performs the above two tasks. For the initial rounds, it will perform static scheduling. Thereafter the dynamic optimizer component will be used to perform scheduling for later rounds considering various scenarios. | |
