dc.description.abstract | For a common man, it becomes increasingly difficult to accurately determine the prices and decide on their investment plan, owing to the absence of a standard price index for housing in the country. This study aims to gather learnings from the methodologies used by various developed and emerging countries for determining their house price indices. And thus, identify the areas in which the same can be applied towards developing a robust index for the Indian housing market. | |
