dc.description.abstract | In this project we mainly focused on Sustainable Development Goals. Multiple conference details were studied and found out what different countries are doing currently on those lines. India being a developing country a lot of opportunities are there to work on these goals. Some of the goals are listed under Corporate Social Responsibility. Government and NGOs taking initiatives and working on the field. Corporate Social Responsibility of different companies were studied, specially for FMCG companies. The initiatives taken by them were compared and how much impact it is creating on the society and live of people, what all SDG they are following are found out. After getting a clear idea about CSR activity and SDG, depth interviews were taken to get insights about what consumers perceive about CSR activities and initiative taken by different corporates. Their personal interest towards social cause were also discussed. Once the depth interviews were taken, based on the insights a questionnaire were formed to extend the analysis and get a thorough idea about how CSR activities affect normal customers and future employees. Survey were designed consisting of 22 situation-based questions with Likert scale of the previously mentioned scenarios. We targeted this survey to the 400+ management students of IIMB pursuing PGP program. We choose these students to measure the level of reaction by this uniform group belong to same age group of around 23 to 33 years. We managed to collect 120 valid responses The questionnaire were formed to measure the intention to act responsibly (independent variable) based on the parameters named: Awareness about CSR, Past involvement and activities, place of origin, concern about inequalities, personal loss, concern about current staying location and daily activities (independent variables). Each of the independent variables were drilled down further to get a clear idea about how those variables impact their actions. | |
