Change Management is one of the emerging topics of consideration in business- in a rapid consolidating business environment, change management- especially when two companies with differing cultures, legacies and ways of doing business decide to come together, join hands, and work towards a common vision. This paper seeks to look at three things- the context for change management, its relevance in merger and acquisition transactions (integration exercises) and finally the complexities in the international environment- with specific emphasis on cross-border deals, by looking at 2 successful and 2 unsuccessful case studies for the same.
