In this report we analysed India and China manufacturing industry from a macro perspective. We studied various sectors in India and China from the perspective of their contribution to overall GDP as well as their growth rates. With the help of this analysis we understood the top 4 systemically important sectors which can create bulk employment, enable a higher GDP growth rate and most importantly have the potential to create a successful “Make in India” Campaign. We analysed the policies, opportunities and employment scenarios of these sectors.
