Semi-conductor industry in India

Abstract

Objective of the study Through this study, we propose to do an industry analysis of semiconductor industry to gain insights into its environment and structure; through this analysis we aim to find out answers to the following questions 1. What is the current scenario of the industry? 2. What are the factors of growth? 3. What is the competitive level of industry? 4. Government initiatives and support for the industry 5. Gap in the ecosystem that limits its growth and expansion. Methodology:- Secondary research will be done to gather information on semiconductor industry in India as well as in the Global market. Different books and online sources may be referred to for this purpose. After that data and inputs will be gathered by conducting in-depth interviews with mid-level managers and at least one top-level manager working in Semiconductor Industry.
