dc.description.abstract | Anaesthesia: Anaesthesia is a medical procedure given to the patients before the surgery. An anaesthesiologist takes various decision on the quantity and timing. These decisions are very important as there are multiple risk associated with it including death of the patients. The standards followed in India is based on the USA standards. Purpose: The anaesthesia quantity given to the Indian patients are based on the USA standards. However there are multiple differences between Indian and USA patients like the metabolic activities. There are multiple cases where the patients wake up before the expected level of dosage is reached. The project aims to identify the attributes that contributes to the dosage quantity given to the patients. Methodology: The project is based on the discussion with Dr. A Rao and Dr.Venkatesan of Apollo hospitals. Dosage level of 100 operations were identified. There are multiple cases where the patient comes back to conscious before the expected dosage is reached. We analysed the scenarios to identify attributes (patient’s condition) and impact of dosage. 1) Data Clean up. 2) Cluster Analysis. 3) Multinomial regression. | |
