dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of our project is to assess the potential of the department of post in the financial inclusion process for our country. The focus is more on the rural population and how India post can help in the financial inclusion process for these population. The method followed involves: 1) Assessing the network and outreach of DoP. 2) Identifying the most efficient money transfer techniques (objective being fast, cheap and efficient delivery). 3) Identifying lowest possible cost of transaction. 4) Leveraging technology to provide better and efficient services. | |
