Abstract: The motivation behind taking up this topic was to assess whether a relationship exists between an individual’s personality and the kind of network s/he has. For instance, does being extroverted rather than being introverted affect the kind of networks a person forms? Do people who are more emotional than others have more people in their networks? The study was carried out on 37 entrepreneurs and 40 2nd year MBA students. The rationale behind this was to assess whether there are personality differences between the two groups, leading to subsequent differences in the type of networks they form.
